The Beartooth Highway, a 68-mile section of US Route 212 that runs through the Beartooth and Absaroka Mountains, is often referred to as one of the most beautiful roads in the US. Winding from southwest Montana to the northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this drive will take you over the Beartooth Pass in Wyoming, 10,947 feet above sea level – be sure to stop at the overlook here to take in the spectacular views.
