About

Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is one of Canada’s largest and darkest dark-sky preserves, while at the same time one of the most accessible. The park features a new dome observatory on the Saskatchewan side of the border, which includes a 60-seat Yurt classroom, outside telescope platforms, and three telescopes. The observatory provides educational opportunities on astronomy and stargazing and an Astronomer-in-Residence program, and each August hosts the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party.

Nearby Attractions
