First of all, it’s on Whidbey Island facing the sound and jut around the corner from Ebey’s Prairie. Incredible scenery. Great walking and biking on back country roads. Good artisan food in Coupeville. Two minute walk to the Port Townsend Ferry for a quick day trip over to the Olympic peninsula. Half the sites have power and water. Unfortunately, 100% reservable, so reservations are necessary on summer weekends.

Coupeville. Langley – especially the art galleries. Ebey’s landing for a beach/bluff walk. Take a day trip across the sound by ferry and stroll the waterfront of historic Port Townsend.
