The campground is located within the City of Yellowknife – the location is ideal. Sites have 30 amp power and a dump station and fresh water is available within the park. The washroom and showers are excellent. Sites are large and reasonably level which makes setting up easy. Fire pits and tables are in each site. Clean and well maintained. The cost is reasonable at just over $30 per day. Access to beach and swimming is possible.

We were in site 7A and would recommend it – but all sites are acceptable.

Nearby Attractions

Since the campground is within the City of Yellowknife it is easy and convenient to visit the city and experience the amenities it has. Tours of the Legislature are worthwhile, shopping opportunities are plentiful and there are a number of unique eating establishments. There is a museum that is worth a visit. Yellowknife is worth a visit.
