From Panorama Drive a mile from the state park entrance the view of the Continental Divide is 100 miles on a clear day! This is the nicest maintained campground I have ever seen. Be warned that the road from Interstate 70 (Exit 243) through Black Hawk is quite windy and slow.
It sits at 9,000 feet, is pristine, and is less than an hour from Denver.
