About

Great Basin is an International Dark Sky Park, and low humidity combined with high elevation contribute to the great stargazing to be found here. That means that on a clear, moonless night, stars, planets, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way, and more can all be seen with the naked eye. The Park hosts regular astronomy programming including hikes, solar telescope viewing, and a festival; check the website for the full schedule.

RVer Tips

Four of the Park’s five campgrounds are suitable for RV camping. Learn more here.
