This is a favorite for Oregonians. Park is atop a ridge overlooking a beautiful little cove with a wind protected beach (if it is a north wind). The town of Brookings with creature comforts is 2 miles away. Birding, biking and hikes.
Try to get Loop A (unless it is windy).
Stop at many of the small state parks going up the coast. Great views and possible wildlife sightings.
