About

Take highway 198 from Visalia toward Sequoia National Park. From Lemon Cove, climb the hill past Lemon Hill Recreation Area (eight-tenths of a mile) to a small hill on the left, and turn left. The surface of this area is hard dirt and in another two-tenths of a mile is Horse Creek, another BLM campground where it’s $5 to dump your tanks and get water.
