About

“Hot Springs, Bear, Bison, Rock Sheep, Caribou- We have seen all within a twenty mile section of the Alaska/Canadian (ALCAN) highway. Best to travel early in the morning from Fort Nelson if you’re interested in seeing Bear. I have seen 12 Black Bear and 5 Brown Bear from Ft. Nelson to Liard in one day. Bison are always in the area just after Liard. Caribou and Rock Sheep are closer to Muncho Lake. Take your time in the area hike back to the hot springs with a Swimsuit changing room at the springs. Provincial camp ground at the Hot Springs. We remote camp or use Provincial Campgrounds.”
