Unfortunately, the family was away (or at least no sign of them), but plenty of other folks were there to greet me (goats, chickens, turkeys & also “Big Billy” (my name for him as we were not properly introduced, and who I was more than happy to greet on the other side of the fence). Due to the short stay, I didn’t acquaint myself with the alpacas/llamas. A sample of local cheeses was available, but I couldn’t find the maple syrup.

Nearby Attractions

Nearby you’ll find the Moose Pond Trailhead, where you can go for an easy, laid-back hike. There is parking on the side road with a clearly marked trail that brings you to the shoreline of Moose Pond.
