Trail Start and End Details

Find the western-most trailhead, with parking, on the east side of the town square in Lebanon, New Hampshire. There are a number of additional access points along the route to Concord, New Hampshire.

Description and Tips

Northern Rail Trail follows the Mascoma River Valley and Mascoma Lake. The terrain features gentle climbs to over 1,300 feet, with lots of water, bridges, and forest and an easy riding surface. Most segments are not heavily traveled, and you’ll find services at both ends, including bike shops. Enjoy access to small towns along the way.
