These LTV owners made the spacious and deep lower kitchen cupboard a little easier to access with a sliding appliance shelf. “We installed a pull-out shelf with full extension slides as an ‘appliance caddy,’ which is easily pulled out and makes this space very functional and appliances much easier to access. The rubber feet on the appliances prevents them from moving around during travel.

Additional Tips

– We used side-mount full extension slides.
– We needed to build out the sides to clear the cabinet face, so the drawer could slide in and out. This was accomplished simply by cutting cleats to fit, and screwing them to the base of the cabinet.
– We mounted the slides to the cleats and custom-fit the shelf to fit the residual space.
