About

This is a very large, dry lakebed area. The expansive area allows boondocking at a great distance from other campers, even when heavily occupied. It is very close to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Be warned that the ground can be soft and/or rutted after rains.

Campground Amenities

There are no amenities, so come prepared. However, there is decent cell service and amazing sunset views.

Nearby Attractions

Sunfair Hills BLM Trails is very close. This trail is 5.1 kilometers (3.2 miles) and is considered a moderately challenging route. Also nearby is Joshua Tree National Park.
