About

“Thompson, Manitoba, has become known as the wolf capital of Canada. Many statues of wolves are found around the city. Numerous walking trails and wildlife at your back door. Close location to Paint Lake Provincial Park, with well-serviced camping lots and unbelievable fishing in most lakes. Take the loop from Winnipeg, north on Highway 6 to 391. Head to Thompson, then turn back and follow 391 to Highway 10 and back to the Number 1 Highway. An unbelievable Manitoba tour!”
