Description and Tips
This award-winning and popular trail is paved, flat, and beautiful. Following the Coeur d’Alene River, the trail travels downhill from Plummer past lakes and farmland, becoming more forested as you continue along. Some of the most picturesque sections of trail are along the Coeur d’Alene River and Lake Coeur d’Alene. There are beautiful waysides with interpretive information, picnic tables, benches, outhouses, and kiosks along the way, and trailheads have lots of parking. There is no fee to use the trail.
