Hampton, Virginia, is the birthplace of America’s space program. The Virginia Air & Space Science Center features interactive aviation exhibits spanning 100 years of flight, more than 30 historic aircraft, an hands-on space exploration gallery, unique space flight artifacts, and is home to the Apollo 12 Command Module and the Orion PA-1 Test Vehicle. The Center is the official visitor center of NASA Langley Research Center.

RVer Tips

Free public parking is available across the street from the Virginia Air & Space Science Center in the free public parking garage. Check for height restrictions. Camp nearby at The Colonies Travel Park.
