“We bought a bunch of waterhog floor mats from LL Bean – one big one and one set of four step runners. I put one piece of 8-inch adhesive-backed velcro on the step, and on the back of the floor mats. I used sharp scissors to cut the lowest mat about an inch narrower. The series of rugs capture a ton of sand and mud and dirt, and the velcro keeps the step mats in place.”
