Description and Tips
Beginning at the far end, the entire hike follows the deep gorge of Glen Creek, over and behind 19 waterfalls along slippery paths and up and down many staircases built by the CCC. It is a true bucket-list hike, and needs to be started very early because of the crowds who arrive at the visitor center via tour buses. We started at the far end and ended by touring Watkins Glen State Park Visitor Center and the entrance to the hike.
