We had beautiful weather for our 2022 Fall Rally on the shores of the Great East, a beautifully clear spring-fed lake in Wakefield, New Hampshire. 28 rigs were in attendance and came from 10 states, including as far as Colorado and Florida. Nearly half the attendees were experiencing their first Northeast Travelers Rally. It was fun meeting new members and wonderful to see those familiar faces from previous rallies.
On Tuesday, we had our first social gathering in the clubhouse, the use of this space was essential with the cool fall evening temperatures around 40 degrees Fahrenheit (+4 degrees Celcius). Attendees spent this time getting acquainted while enjoying sandwiches and the warm fire in the fireplace.
Wednesday morning, the group got together to start their day with coffee and muffins, some folks used the day to explore the campground, and others went out for hikes or bike rides. That evening, after the group photo in the Rally field, we again used the clubhouse for shelter from the fall chill to share information and LTV travel stories.
Thursday was the day for a golf outing! This RV park has an attached 9-hole course, and it was great fun!
The evening brought us together for a pizza party and movie night in the clubhouse, but some braved the cool fall night to cozy up in front of a warm campfire.
On Friday morning, we experienced our coolest temperature starting around 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 degrees Celcius). Thankfully the temperature rose quickly as everyone started to pack up. Some of us were headed home, and others were on to new adventures.
Safe travels, hope to see you all in June!
