The Heartland and Midwest LTV’ers will be hosting a Combined Mini Rally! The Rally is scheduled for your arrival on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 22, with a departure by 5:00 pm Friday, August 25th.
Pomme de Terre Lake lies in the rugged, tree-covered hills of the Missouri Ozarks, a region long known as a popular Midwest vacation spot. The lake has 13 recreation areas, four marinas, and over 10,000 acres of wildlife habitat. Visitors to the lake enjoy various outdoor recreation activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, camping, picnicking, hiking, hunting, sightseeing, and relaxation. A three/four-mile bike path and other paths between camping areas may provide attractive biking opportunities.
For those who may not have attended a Mini Rally–they are generally a smaller gathering that is less structured and much more relaxed than a typical Rally. Reservations have been made at group camp 1 (G1), which has eleven sites. The G1 camping area is located at Nemo Park, which is situated in the Corp of Engineering Camp area. Suppose interest is received beyond the initial eleven spots in the group area. In that case, attendees may book their camping reservations (details are included in the reservation form) through the Corp and attend the group gatherings at G1. The Corp does allow up to 25 vehicles within the group area, so folks could drive over and park or join the group by walking/bicycle.

The registration fee of $60 includes electric and water hookups for the three-night stay. A dump station and showers are conveniently located outside the G1 camping area. G1 does have pit toilets.
