It’s my favorite because it’s just beautiful. It’s on the Tioga lake at almost 10,000 feet elevation overlooking Mt. Dana, which is 13,057 feet. See snow covered caps most of the time. Many hikes around. No hook-ups, no cell or wi-fi, which I love!

Two trails to Mt. Dana, hike to Bennettville, Shell Lake, Mine Lake, Fantail Lake, Spuller Lake, then near Saddlebag Lake, 20 Lakes Basin hike is wonderful! Hike around Tioga Lake, and Saddlebag Lake, fishing in these lakes . . . there is so much to do and it’s less than a mile from the East entrance of the Yosemite National Park. I go two to three times a year from San Diego.
