The Heartland LTV’ers 2025 fall rally will be returning to Washburn, Wisconsin, to Memorial Park, where our 2023 fall rally was held. The rally is scheduled for your arrival on the afternoon of September 15 and a departure time of noon on September 19, for a total of four nights.
Washburn is a small community located in the far northern area of Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay. This is a very beautiful area of Wisconsin, and the community has a quaint downtown area with several restaurants, a coffee shop, and various arts and craft stores. Additional attractions within a 15-mile radius of Washburn include the city of Bayfield, which offers many restaurants, fish markets, hiking trails, and biking opportunities. Madeline State Park is a short ferry ride away, where you may take your bike or rent one when you get there and spend the day hiking/cycling the area. Also, the iconic Apostle Islands National Lakeshore features 21 islands, a scenic 12-mile shoreline along Lake Superior with breathtaking views, and is home to the largest collection of lighthouses in the National Park System. The Washburn area also has several local orchards, a winery, and, if you enjoy learning about the local culture and history, a small museum is available for your enjoyment.
The City of Washburn has been very generous with us in accommodating our Travelers Club. The city typically operates on a first-come, first-served basis, but they have agreed to allow our group to make early reservations and have offered a 25% discount on our camping fees! The regular price for a site is $40 per night, including electric. The Heartland LTV’ers group rate with a discount is $30 per night or $120 for the four nights of our rally.
Memorial Park has a pavilion, flush toilets, and pay showers. Water is located throughout several areas of the camp, with a dump station on site. There are only 30 sites available for this rally, so check your calendars and make a reservation if you’re interested in attending! Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain open until all spots are filled or until June 10, 2025, whichever comes first. Campsites will be assigned after the registration deadline.
To reserve your spot, please fill out this registration form. The form will explain how and where to send the registration fee to secure your spot. Your reservation will not be confirmed until we receive your registration fee of $120, which is the total for the four-night stay. If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, a refund will only be given if someone fills your spot. If you cancel before June 10, 2025, you will receive a full refund. A $10 per person rally fee will be collected at check-in for the rally.
