Our 2025 Fall Rally was held at Normandy Farms Campground in Foxborough, Massachusetts. We don’t know why it’s not called a luxury RV resort, because that’s precisely what it is, with all the amenities you could ask for, consistently ranked as one of the top RV parks in the country.
43 LTVs from 11 states and one province gather for three days of fun and camaraderie.

The rally began on Tuesday evening with a meet-and-greet happy hour; attendees brought their favorite appetizers to share with the group.

Followed by a Q&A hosted by Brian Shannon, in an effort to get answers to those nagging questions that many times one of our seasoned travelers can help with.
Wednesday, our first full day, started with breakfast, sponsored by Paul Clark from Kleen Tank, an RV tank cleaning service

Paul educated us on best practices to keep our waste tanks functioning properly.

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with our plan to have an open house, an activity we regularly have during our rallies. Personally, this is a favorite of mine, to visit other LTVers in their own space to see how they have made it their own, a wonderful way to get to know someone. We even have someone in the group who takes it to the next level by baking cookies for those visiting their home on wheels.
Fortunately, considering the weather, we had bingo on the itinerary for this afternoon. Hosted by Mark and Mary Hickman as a fundraiser for the Fisher House Boston. The Fisher House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the burden on military families during medical hardship. Big thank you to Mark and Mary, raising $530 to be donated in the name of the LTV Great Northeast Travelers, a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon.
We had scheduled a time before that evening’s activities for everyone to gather in the lodge to take a group photo. It’s challenging to get everyone together at any particular time, but somehow we got almost everyone.

The pizza party on Wednesday night was great fun. How many pizzas does it take to feed 80 hungry campers? 23 on this night.
After the pizzas were gone, Brian and Jackie Shannon hosted trivia night. Attendees got together in teams to see who could come up with the most correct answers. It was amazing to see how much random knowledge there is in our group. Thank you, Jackie and Brian, great job.
After that evening’s planned activities, many gathered outside, between the raindrops, to sit by the fabulous gas fire pit.

We started Thursday with breakfast sponsored by SkyMed, followed by a presentation on the advantages of travel insurance.
The plan for the day was for Arlen Dau to host a bike round-up, where attendees who had ebikes would get together to show others who may be interested in getting one the different features from model to model. We had planned a group bike ride to Foxborough Commons and a local brewery, but that never happened due to the persistent rain. We will definitely have these events at our next rally.
That evening, we all gathered in the Lodge for a meal of barbecue by the Sarcastic Swine restaurant, and delicious food.

After dinner, we had Photographer Alan Green school us on how to take better photos. He had some wonderful suggestions to help get better results from our cell phone cameras. Thank you, Alan.

Finally, we had a few items to give away, everyone loves a raffle.

Just like that, the 2025 Fall Rally was over. Of course, we woke to a beautiful day on Friday, just in time to check out.
Safe travels to all, see you in the spring.
