There were 37 LTVs attending the Ontario Sunrisers 2026 fall rally at the lovely Camping-In-Muskoka Campground in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
On the first evening, we held our usual potluck appetizer and dessert event with a bounty of great food. The weather cooperated, allowing for maximum participation in activities such as golf, walking, scenic cruises, pool swimming, campfires, visiting local markets, and outdoor socializing.
We had special presentations on traveling with your LTV along the Dempster Highway, making the best cup of coffee by Sparkplug Coffee, northern wilderness adventures on the Nahanni River, talking about their canoe adventure trips, as well as an opportunity to see, learn about, and touch some of Ontario’s critters at a wildlife rescue centre. A Newfoundland LTV planning session and discussion provided extensive information from those who have already been and those who want to make the trip in the future.
There was a show-and-tell of LTV conveniences that attendees presented to the group, and 12 LTVs showed off some of their RV modifications during the open-doors time slot. The rally included a great musical performance by a local and a Nashville-based traveling artist and was capped off by a delicious catered dinner on Thursday evening.
We didn’t have anyone step up to be our new club lead, but the rally team is underway with planning some events for 2027.
