The Midwest LTVers Travelers Club members gathered for our 2026 Fall Rally at the Rush-N0-More RV Park & Campground in western South Dakota, east of Sturgis, South Dakota.  The campground is in the South Dakota Black Hills and near many attractions and natural beauty.

We had 47 LTVs, for a total of 89 people who attended the rally.  There were many familiar faces, and for some of the group, it was their first Midwest LTVers rally.  The fall weather included rain and cooler temperatures. The event center for the rally was very helpful, especially given all the rain.

We started each rally day with breakfast treats, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, and tea and coffee.

At the Monday morning meeting, the special guest speaker was Tommy Henderson from Henderson’s Line Up/ Super Steer. He spoke about their products and services that can be installed on an LTV and answered many questions for the LTV owners.  Also, the Henderson team spent the rest of the rally time conducting inspections and installing products on the LTVs. Also on Monday morning, Kelly Westphal and Dave Dokkestul presented a demonstration on the On-The-Go Water Softener.

A special talk on Tuesday morning was by Lisa and Wayne Piche about their trip to Alaska and its planning. Other morning talks included LTV modifications, upgrades, solutions, maintenance, travel apps, Harvest Host, additional information, show-and-tell, rally updates, the daily schedule, and announcements.

A special activity on Tuesday afternoon was a presentation by Julie Larson on speed puzzling, and she also conducted a speed puzzle contest. In addition, the LTV owners spent their afternoons and evenings engaged in activities around the Sturgis and Black Hills area, hiking, playing a variety of games, and chatting about their travels and other plans.

At this rally, we were blessed and sponsored for two evening meals. On Sunday evening, Hilltop Camper and RV from Fridley, Minnesota, sponsored the catered meal that included boneless/skinless chicken breasts, pulled pork tenderloin, various BBQ and gravy sauces, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, vegetable medley, and carrot cake. On Monday evening, SkyMed sponsored the meal from Pizza Ranch that included a variety of pizzas, cheesy breadsticks, salad, and dessert pizzas. The other evening’s meals consisted of the main course, Mexican Fiesta, including chicken burrito bowls, ground beef tacos, and grilled brats. There was plenty of food at the rally!

On Wednesday evening, after the meal, we held a Midwest LTVers Club meeting to provide LTV owners with information and updates about the club. Also, we had a drawing so the LTV owners could receive gifts donated by LTV, other vendors, and Midwest LTVers Club members.

We were so fortunate to have a great group of volunteers who helped with grilling, cooking, preparing food, organizing food tables, serving, cleaning up, and anything else we needed help with. Also, we are so thankful to our corporate sponsors who donated products and sponsorships for the rally: LTV, Hilltop Camper and RV, SkyMed, Liquified, Pleasureland RV, Walex, Unique Camping and Marine tank treatments and products, On the Go Water Softener, and more.

Our “LTV family” continues to grow at each rally. It was a great time with these LTV owners. We hope that others will consider joining us at a future Midwest LTVers rally!
