With many active safety features and a host of modern technology, Serenity and Unity owners will be taking to the road with ease.
Advanced Safety Features
Safety is a cornerstone of the new Sprinter from Mercedes-Benz, and we have some great new safety features ordered on the Unity and Serenity models. Below is an overview of some of the active safety features that we order on our Sprinter Cab Chassis, as described by www.mbvans.com.*
Active Brake Assist
Active Brake Assist can warn you of oncoming danger and brake for you.
Active Lane Keeping Assist
Stay in your lane. This feature can sense if you seem to be unintentionally changing lanes. It will give you a helpful visual and audio warning, and apply the brake pressure to help you get back in line.
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
This feature will detect the distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you and maintain that distance – speeding up or slowing down as necessary. Say no to tailgating.
Attention Assist
Attention Assist monitors your driving patterns for signs of fatigue and gives you an early warning to make sure you’re not driving drowsy. Whether you’re stopping to grab a cup of coffee or taking a quick nap in your Leisure Travel Van, we’re making sure you stay awake on the road.
Traffic Sign Assist
Since speed limits change unexpectedly, Traffic Sign Assist can help identify the right speed and let you know when it’s changed by continually scanning signs along your drive.
LED Performance Headlights
The new LED headlights give your Leisure Travel Van a contemporary look while maximizing the view with high beam assist and fog lamps with cornering lights.
Emergency Call
This standard feature can detect a crash and immediately call for emergency first responders, as well as roll down the windows and turns off the fuel pump.
Comfort & Convenience Features
We’re including comfortable and convenient upgrades like the all-new MBUX multimedia system with a 10.25″ touchscreen equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and is SiriusXM Satellite Radio ready. Our Ultraleather driver and passenger seats are both heated and electric powered with the ability to program different user and seat configurations, depending on who is driving.
Wet Wiper System
The newly enhanced windscreen wipers give you clean lines of sight if you have to wash your windshield as you drive, complete with rain sensors which will turn on automatically when it begins to rain.
Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) Touchscreen
The 10.25″ touchscreen has intelligent voice control, built-in maps, live chassis data, user-presets, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and is SiriusXM Satellite Radio ready. We order these complete with a tray that has built-in wireless charging and USB-C connectivity.
7G-Tronic Automatic Transmission
According to a Daimler website, “The transmission glides smoothly from first to second gear immediately after pulling away. After that it is difficult to follow the gearshifts: as quick as lightning and almost imperceptibly, the new 7G-Tronic automatic transmission in the Sprinter switches from one gear to the next.”
Speed-Sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS)
Touted as a game-changing feature by early LTV customers with the 2019 Sprinter Cab Chassis, the speed-sensitive electric power steering increases driving comfort at highway speeds, as well as allows for easy maneuvering and parking.
