This loop inside of Custer State Park features not only the beautiful landscapes of the South Dakota Black Hills, but many different type of animals as well. Nearly every visitor will come across a few of the Park’s 1,350 free-roaming bison, but keep your eye out and you may also spot deer, elk, bighorn sheep, or even a mountain lion. Perhaps most surprisingly, there is also a band of feral burros roaming the hills.
