Each September, a group of excited Leisure Travel Van owners makes their way to Winkler, Manitoba, for the much-anticipated LTV Fall Rally.
Some owners say these four days are the “epitome of owning an LTV.” From enriching seminars to meeting new friends and experiencing the community that defines Leisure Travel Vans. The LTV Fall Rally is where stories are shared, memories are made, and a passion for the road unites and ignites everyone.

Day 1 — Wednesday
For LTV owners, the excitement builds with every mile toward Winkler Bible Camp. From determining the route to the camp or making a few last-minute stops, the anticipation only grows until the camp is finally in sight—the moment the Rally experience truly begins. LTV staff are ready with warm welcomes, guiding each guest to their spot for the week. Once guests arrive at registration, they’re handed a welcome bag with LTV swag and items local to Winkler—an early taste of the community that will set the tone for the week ahead.
The first day of the Rally is a chance to start building connections with your neighbours. Coming from as far as Nunavut, California, or even just a couple of hours away in Steinbach, Manitoba, you never know which state or province your new friends are from until you start connecting.
Day 2 — Thursday
Breakfast at 8:00 am rolled in quickly, but not as quickly as the clouds that brought rain throughout the entire day. However, the rain didn’t dampen the day. Through the puddles and rain, we enjoyed seminars from LTV, Truma, Mercedes-Benz, Truma, and Firefly.
Rally attendees have always appreciated the depth to which each presenter goes. This expands their knowledge of the inner and outer workings of their coaches. There are times for Q&A, and with Customer Service staff around, questions are answered and issues are addressed.
Back at the factory, attendees were thrilled to learn how their LTVs are made and to see the care and effort put into each step, which speaks volumes to the quality.
While seminars and factory tours kept the day busy, you can always appreciate the LTV staff working hard to ensure all systems and operations run as smoothly as possible. Whether answering questions or assisting with an issue, someone is always there to help make the week enjoyable for each guest in attendance.
Rally guests had the opportunity to shop LTV merch, and owners were excited to purchase hats, blankets, jackets, and dishes to deck out their Leisure Travel Vans or to rep the brand outside of their coaches.
Due to the rain, ziplining, archery, and kayaking were unavailable, but the chapel was the hot and dry spot of the night for the annual LTV cook-off competition.
Rally attendees can apply to be a sous chef to an LTV staff member, and each year, a category of food is selected that is to be made. This year was pizza. The sous chefs provide the ingredients based on what they have in their LTVs. Who determines the winning pizza? An application is put out, and those selected get to sample the creations made. The cook-off is a fun event for all who attend, and those who get to sample the food have an even better job. Congratulations to our winners!
Day 3 — Friday
By Friday morning, the rain had lifted, leaving behind fresh air and excitement for what was to come. After a full Thursday of filling our notebooks and minds with newfound knowledge of Leisure Travel Vans and its components, Friday shifted the focus to activities and fostering connections with fellow owners.
Many Leisure Travel Van owners appreciate movement of any kind, and the yoga session with Become Yoga was the perfect place to chat with other yoga enthusiasts and stretch our bodies.
Meanwhile, coffee lovers enjoyed the Other Brother coffee seminar with the bright and radiant Erin. Between sips of some of Winkler’s best coffee, they also learned about the craft behind each roast and Erin’s passion for her work. Learning all of this made every cup feel that much more meaningful and sparked many coffee orders.
There is always something for everyone at the Rally, and our passionate pet owners and Leisure Travel Van owners enjoyed a camp barnyard tour. In the barnyard, the highlight turned out to be a bit more unexpected—holding snakes became a crowd favorite, proving once again that time spent at the Rally is full of new experiences.
Though the rain had tapered off by Friday, the lingering puddles and crisp air called for a few extra layers. Thankfully, most of the activities were held indoors which had Rally-goers singing their praises to.
The group’s cooks experienced a cooking demonstration with Peter Fehr, founder of Gourmet Inspirations. Growing up in Southern Manitoba makes Peter proud, and he shared not only his culinary passion but also flavors from his roots. From sauces and spices to unique coffee syrups, his culinary creations offered fresh inspiration to food. Guests left with new flavors added to their pantries and new recipes to try out on the road.
The cold and wind may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but a group of determined bikers set off on a bike ride to Dead Horse Cider, led by Marketing Lead Josiah Wiebe. This ride was about an hour long and ended with an opportunity to try some wonderful cider options at the Dead Horse Cidery.
Spending time at the Dead Horse Cidery was another chance to connect over drinks and snacks. It’s easy to connect over owning a Leisure Travel Van, but to learn more about who your neighbours are is enriching, and planning to meet again in the future brings an entirely new perspective to the LTV lifestyle.
Eventually, we all made our way back, and with maps in hand, it was time to check out LTV Open Spaces. This is a chance for owners to open up their coach and show how they use their LTV, some of the great features they have inside, or a chance for those wanting a new floorplan to see how you have made life inside your LTV comfortable and feel like home.
The sun began to set on our final day together, and while the cold and windy temperatures chilled us to the bone, Erin from Other Brother Roasters was back with a coffee house to warm everyone up. With hot coffee and tea beverages in hand, we tapped our toes to the beats of Big City All Star Band and watched in awe as we closed off the night with fireworks to celebrate 60 years.
Day 4 — Saturday
Saturday was the end of the 2025 LTV Fall Rally—a day we all didn’t want to come. We filled up on breakfast and bid farewells to the new friends made and to the LTV staff that made our time together enriching. By the afternoon, all that was left were an empty camp and the filled cups of LTV staff members. Rally attendees left with full hearts and a deeper understanding of who is making their Leisure Travel Vans. We also added new contacts to our phones and made plans to travel with our new friends.
