The tropical breezes of the Florida Keys welcomed attendees of the Flamingles Fall Rally to the Jolly Roger RV Resort located in Marathon.
Calypso-style music, Jimmy Buffet tunes, and spectacular sunsets and beachside vistas provided a magical backdrop for the 39 rigs and attendees of the rally. The large seaside tiki hut pavilion funneled tropical breezes while rally-goers enjoyed social and informative briefings about LTV products and upgrade options.
Andy Baer from Leisure Travel Vans provided insight into happenings at the factory in Winkler and new and exciting model enhancements on the LTV product line. Sandra Johnson and Gary Oster held a lively discussion for rallygoers on gaining a better understanding of their rig’s electrical system and how to maximize its operation.
As evening approached, the Flamingles flocked to the beachside chairs to witness the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico while sipping an umbrella-adorned drink and listening to the rhythmic sounds of the crashing surf. The tunes of Jimmy Buffet played over the sound of the surf and let all the Flamingles know that being a Parrot Head is not a bad thing, either.
As the rally ended, a new team of leadership for the Flamingles was elected. The future of this active LTV Travelers Club is certain, and we hope to enjoy many more beautiful sunsets together as a flock of LTV enthusiasts.
