January 18, 2019, was our annual dinner held during the Tampa LTV Show. What an amazing delightful evening of comradery, laughs, good food, good information, and merrymaking. It couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks to all who attended—59 of us!!!
It was quite a roomful. Don Klassen did a stellar job with his stories, prizes for everyone present, and Q& A. Norine Dowd has already posted some pictures on Facebook.
We are now gearing up for the April 26th Rally in Jacksonville. For those who did not attend, there are several notable thank you’s that are in order:
- Norine Dowd—she has been doing a tremendous job in monitoring the Facebook page and is an invaluable part of our team.
- Penny Durham—she did a masterful job of tracking our attendees, making the name tags with our logo on them, finding out who is interested in attending the Mystery Theater in April, juggling last minute changes and shifts.
- Tom Hirst—he reported we had a total of 21 LTVs together in the last 2 days. It was amazing waking up this morning behind Bass to see at least 15 other LTVs present. It bodes well for the comradery we will have in April. Plus he had at least 8 at the Show overnight. That means we had over 21 rigs present.
- All the spouses of the above and our team for supporting the time and effort their spouses have put into this.
The wonderful evening was reflective of the members of LTV.
Each shared a story about the name of their rig which brought much laughter. It is wonderful to meet folks from all over, sharing commonality through ownership of these amazing vehicles!
Happy RVing,
Karen
