The Florida Flamingles recently held their Spring Rally at Wilderness RV Resort in Silver Springs, Florida. As part of the Rally, the Flamingles welcomed several prospective LTV owners and those with rigs on order to participate, too.
The three-day Flamingles Spring Rally included a visit from the local LTV dealership, along with Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville, to participate in the Rally and answer attendee questions. Additional learning modules (moderated by fellow Flamingles), included topics on e-bikes, air conditioning 101, and LTV weight and balance considerations. The Rally also featured a briefing by a local park ranger who provided information on local parks.
The evenings were filled with fire-ring fun fellowship (including s’mores), and two great catered dinners of lasagna and barbecue.
The prospective owners had opportunities to visit with owners, learn about LTV ownership, and tour the 27 LTV rigs at the Rally. To help facilitate the visits, several Flamingles acted as Ambassadors to the prospective buyers and introduced them to other owners.
When asked about the visiting prospective owners, Flamingles Club Leader, Brian Duffy, said, “We are tickled to share in our knowledge, and I’m especially pleased to learn that two of our guests have now purchased LTVs, and will be joining our ranks as Flamingles LTV Travelers Club members. We are simply introducing new folks to the fun of owning LTV rigs, and at the same time, growing our LTV Travelers Club organically.”
The Flamingles have several more fun events planned, including a micro-rally in Key West to enjoy the July 4th Key Lime Festival and a mid-September caravan trip to Savannah, Georgia.
