The Florida Flamingles hosted a boondocking mini-rally from January 29 to 31, 2021, at the Summer Crush Vineyard and Winery in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Nestled together along the picturesque vineyard, the 8 LTV rigs – 5 Unity and 3 Wonder models – enjoyed a fun and informative weekend. The mini-rally started with a Friday evening discussion and group meal that allowed attendees to build friendships and learn about boondocking with their LTVs. The fun discussions were occasionally paused to take in the beauty of the vineyard and observe the resident sandhill cranes that checked in on us during the evening.
The remote vineyard setting was a perfect location to learn about and explore the incredible dry camping capabilities of our LTV rigs. The cooler night led several Flamingles to try their newly acquired knowledge about operating the furnace system of their rigs.
The weekend rally was a fun mix, with Saturday offering a fun ’60s music concert, comradeship, and wine sampling. As the sun settled over the vineyard, some visitors interested in purchasing an LTV were welcomed by the Flamingles, to be inspired by the LTV rigs and, perhaps more so, by the extended hospitality.
