The Florida Flamingles LTV Travelers Club’s recent Fall Rally mustered 24 LTV rigs, which travelled to the Madison RV & Golf Resort in the Florida Panhandle. Arriving behind the passing of Hurricane Eta, the 47 attendees of the three-day rally were blessed with clear blue skies and bright, warm, Florida sunshine.
The attendees participated in several firsts for their active LTV Travelers Club. An informative clinic on filter maintenance was hosted by Ron Drozd, a Flamingle club member. Ron’s comprehensive “Filter 101” clinic included a hands-on demonstration rig-side on how to replace a MB oil filter. The afternoon session featured a Zoom meeting with several LTV folks from their cooler setting up in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada. This Q&A session was a first for the Flamingles and LTV. The session was certainly one of the biggest highlights of the rally. As this was a first for both LTV and the Flamingles, it was pre-agreed to limit the broadcast to rally attendees.
Flamingles also found time to mingle at two great meals: the Tex-Mex buffet on Saturday, and the Hawaiian Luau on Sunday. Several Flamingles worked off their meals by flocking together on the pickleball courts and golf course on Sunday morning. A few even dropped a hook in several lakes at the resort. As one Flamingle said, “I hope to catch a big fish story to share with my fellow LTV owners.”
A group photo was taken using a drone – another first for the Flamingles. The drone also captured a great aerial photo of the Madison RV Resort and the multitude of LTV rigs that gathered for the rally. Rally attendees found time to show-off their various LTV models to interested resort onlookers – one couple interested in purchasing a LTV travelled three hours to the rally just to see the collection of LTV rigs on display.
The Florida Flamingles is an active LTV Travelers Club and we invite you to join our flock at an upcoming rally!
