The Florida Flamingles travelled north to Savannah, Georgia, for a rally get-together and operational caravan up I-95.

Using a group text monitored by the passengers to communicate during the caravan portion of the journey, Flamingles LTV rigs aimed for the Red Gate Campground, just on the outskirts of Savannah, Georgia.

This beautiful RV resort park combines an RV park with a working equine farm. The horses, hiking paths, and lakes make for a beautiful setting and provided a wonderful base station for the nine Flamingles rigs and members to enjoy the charm of the Hostess City of the South.

The park is part of the visitor trolley system that made touring Savannah a simple and fun chore. Returning back in the evening, the members gathered for a fun sunset fire and shared stories of owning a LTV and the amazing travel opportunities that ownership has provided.

As the weekend wound down, the members packed up and said their goodbyes, with an eye to our next rendezvous at our Fall Rally in Sarasota, Florida.

The Fall Rally is set for 40 rigs at the Sun n Fun RV Resort in southwest Florida, in close proximity to I-75.

Several other rally events are in the planning stage and will be posted ASAP.
