Description and Tips

Cochise Stronghold Trail is a very beautiful, scenic trail in a very remote part of Arizona, the Dragoon Mountains. Much of the trail is lined with pines, oaks, and mandrones, while the trail breaks through frequently into beautiful vistas of unique rock formations. The trail is generally a gentle uphill grade, with occasional steep rocky sections.
