Description and Tips

Gorgeous hike along the Continental Divide starting at Logan Pass in Glacier Park at about 6,640 feet. It traverses a cliff above the famous Going To The Sun Road (GTTSR) and is not for the faint hearted in that region. It has constant views of mountains, valleys and waterfalls on its way to Granite Park Chalet, one of two remaining overnight chalets in the park made from local stone. Relatively level with only a few areas with much elevation change. I recommend going as far as you wish and going back to Logan Pass rather than the shorter “Loop” trail which is steep, rocky and hot. One of the best hikes you will ever take. Alltrails assumes using the Loop trail.
