Trail Start and End Details

You can park your rig for a $15/day fee and begin the trail at Brookhurst or find street parking on Brookhurst or Magnolia and cross Pacific Coast Highway on foot to access the trail by the shore. It extends to Anderson St before reaching Sunset Beach, but you can follow PCH North into Seal Beach and Long Beach if you wish.

Description and Tips

Huntington Beach Trail is a 15.7-mile heavily trafficked out-and-back trail located near Huntington Beach, California that offers scenic views and is suitable for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round.

There are also lots of shopping and eateries across the highway and near the pier, where Fridays usually welcome arts and crafts vendors displaying their wares. Fire pits are available on the beach on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t forget to visit Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve.
