This is the camping area in Mesa Verde National Park. While it would be very busy during the middle of the summer, spring and fall shoulder season is spectacular. Mesa Verde should be on everyone’s bucket list and the campground is the only place to stay. Two days at the park is a minimum and just doing a one day “drive by” viewing of the ruins at the park should be outlawed.
