“When you hear the words ‘sky meadows’, what comes to mind? If you answered, ‘Open fields, a big blue sky, lots of space to roam, and wildflowers’, then you are accurately describing Sky Meadows State Park in Virginia! One of the most unique state parks we’ve visited, it truly is a wonderful experience. Be prepared to climb high if you decide to take a hike – the main hike will lead you up and up to the top of a long and large hill. From there, you can literally see for MILES. Our favorite thing about Sky Meadows is that it is the perfect place for a picnic!”
