Description and Tips

Easy desert trail, mostly flat, before the last uphill stretch to the overlook. The climb is short, considering the very large and high views one gets as reward. Best colours in the evening. Part of Capitol Reef National Park, this trail is best accessed from Boulder, by the Burr Trail road. This dirt road is normally open to any vehicle, and there is a small campground near the trail head (no facilities).
