Back in September, the Western Sunsetters headed to Shuswap Falls RV Park for a mini Rally.

This RV park only has 10 available sites, and after two unfortunate cancellations, we had 8 LTVs in attendance at the Rally. The sites were flat and very spacious, as well as fully serviced and very well maintained.

On the first evening together, we had a potluck/meet-and-greet time, which was a resounding success. We ate lots of delicious food, shared stories, and enjoyed a lot of laughter.

During the Rally, golfers Ann and Paul played a daily round at the nearby Mabel Lake Golf Course, Steve took a bike ride to Mabel Lake and back, Sarah and Kevin hiked the Enderby cliffs, while others enjoyed the Shuswap River.

The Shuswap Falls scavenger hunt was enthusiastically embraced. We had five full-house winners facing off for the prizes. Pegs and Jokers, Horse Racing, and Find the LTV Guest Bingo game was also enjoyed.

The weather was picture-perfect, and we could enjoy blue skies, lovely sunshine, cool night temperatures, no wind, and mosquitoes. We also made many great memories around the firepit. Thanks to our fire chief, Johanna, who kept the campfire burning.

Our time together culminated in an enjoyable pizza evening sponsored by Leisure Travel Vans. Thank you to Linda and Rob for ordering the pizza from Mabel Lake Golf Course and Kevin for picking up the pizza for us. Fraserway RV sponsored us with a $50 gift card for each LTV, plus four extra gift cards, five outdoor mats, and five umbrellas as prizes. These gifts and the prizes Norm sent us were greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

We want to say a big thank you to both Leisure Travel Vans and Fraswerway RV for their sponsorship. Another thank you goes to R.A.W. Artistry & Co. for the printed can koozies and custom-made Bingo and scavenger hunt games. Thank you to Norm for all of your help and to every single attendee for their support, help, and kind words of encouragement.
