The Texoma Travelers rallied on island time at Galveston, Texas. We had a total of 61 LTVs attend at Jamacia Beach RV Resort on the Gulf of Mexico, which is about our average number of attendees. This RV Park was a great place to rally. The weather was warm and sunny and of course windy 24/7.
Galveston Island is a very historic city established in 1785. Full of historic structures, sandy shores, first-rate restaurants, and unique places to stay and visit. This was a special, first-time club event with Don & Rose Klassen, Regional Sales Manager for Leisure Travel Vans, and Daryl Rogers, Manager of Leisure Travel Center, TX. in attendance. Both Don and Daryl spoke to our attendees and provided ample question and answer times.
This Rally was jam-packed with activities. Including mini golf, Pickel Ball, Instant Pot cooking demonstration, RV seminars, meet & greets, an RV Caravan Tour Company Presentation, disaster response Volunteer Meeting, Group Bus Trip to the Bolivar Ferry with Restaurant Stop, Rubber Duck Race, Dog Show, and Bingo. Our semiannual club meeting was held, installing our new assistant club leaders.
We are presenting a rally video for your enjoyment created by club member, Dewayne Randle.
