A rally for LTV owners is being held June 15 to 17 at Writing on Stone Provincial Park which is about 43 km south east of Milk River AB

REGISTRATION: Contact Bruce Shippelt at [email protected] or 403 343 0333. Bruce has booked and paid for a private camping area at the park which includes a camp kitchen. He will assign the camp sites on first come first serve basis and each van will be responsible for paying Bruce for their campsite. Rates are reasonable but depend on the number of campers in attendance.

AMENTIES IN THE AREA: The park is noted for the largest collection of native pictographs in North America. It also has a beach for swimming, a river for canoeing, birding is available, and the park has hiking trails. A 9 hole golf course is located in Milk River which is about 30 min away from the park.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED:

Wednesday evening we will be having a pot luck supper at the camp kitchen at around 6:00pm. Bring a food item or dish to contribute to the potluck.

Thursday evening we will be having a communal barbeque. A large grill will be available and everyone should bring something to prepare on the grill as well as whatever sides they want with their meal.

Thursday during the day participants will spend their day as they see fit. Either taking in some of the sights and amenities of the park or relaxing at the campsite

Friday will be check out day. Anyone who wants to stay longer will have to make their own arrangements with the park
