British Columbia Western Sunsetter LTV Rally
This rally takes place at NKMIP RV Park on Okanagan Lake in Osoyoos BC from Tuesday May 16 to Friday May 19 (3 nights). 15 sites have been set aside for the rally. These sites will be held by the park until April 1/2017 after which they will be released to the general public. To book a site call 250-495-7279 and tell them you are with the “LTV Group” . You will need to provide a deposit of $60.00 (A full refund will be provided for any cancellation made before May 2). In the event all 15 sites are booked up the park will still have other sites available but just not in the area reserved for us. In an effort to help plan for communal meals it would be appreciated if you e-mailed us once you have registered with the park.
There is a clubhouse we will be using, an indoor pool, a hot tub, and a large grassed area. For more information on the park go to their website at: http://nkmip.com/.
This rally will be at a relaxed pace and there will be plenty of time to explore on your own or visit with the other participants, however we do have a few activities planned:
May 16 Tuesday evening: a meet and greet with cheese and crackers provided by the chapter and some games.
May 17, Wednesday: A tour of one of the wineries in the area is being organized. If you are interested in joining the tour contact Donna Chura so she can reserve a spot for you. Cost if any at this time is unknown and will depend on number of participants.
May 18, Thursday: The chapter will be providing a “stick to the ribs” breakfast at 9:00 am. The Travel Club will provide the bulk of the costs however again depending on numbers there may be a nominal fee of $1 to $2 a person.
May 19, Friday. Departure day. Anyone interested in staying longer should arrange to do so with the park.
Rick Kalinocka of Country RV in Kelowna has helped us with some wonderful prizes and is hoping to bring a new LTV Wonder to the rally for an up close look.
