Fort Massac State Park, located in southern Illinois along the Ohio River, will be the location of the Heartland LTVer’s 2024 Spring Rally. It will begin Monday, April 29, and end Friday, May 3, 2024. Fort Massac State Park is located near Metropolis, Illinois, the home of Superman! Oh, I think we can have much fun with this Rally!
Whether you enjoy history, nature in all its splendor, disc golf, fishing, or visiting a winery or museum, you will find it in southern Illinois. The Rally is shortly after the AQS Quiltweek at Paducah, Kentucky. So, if you’re a quilter, just one more reason to be in the area. If biking or hiking is on your to-do list, the George Rogers Clark Discovery Trail is an 8.8-mile newly paved path to Brookville, Illinois. The Fourmile Creek Bridge spans 420 feet, which is the longest pedestrian bridge in the state of Illinois.
To attend the Spring Rally, you must make your own campsite reservation! It is a two-step process to complete your reservation for the spring Rally, so please follow the instructions carefully.
- Click here. Then select Reserve Your Campsite. This should take you to the camping Area One with sites #1 – #50. Please note that we have reserved site nine, which is across the road from the Riverview Shelter, which is where our activities will take place. Once you have your site number confirmed, go to step two.
- Fill out this google form.
A $10.00 Rally fee will be due at check-in on April 29, 2024. Additional information about the Rally will be emailed to attendees after the first of the year.
