Didn’t win the “lottery” to the Winkler Annual Rally? Do not despair. Come and rally with the Leisurely Great Lakers in beautiful northern Michigan!
The fall rally will be held at the Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground, only five minutes from the Mackinac Island Ferry Docks and downtown Mackinaw City.
Mackinaw City is the location of Fort Michilimackinac, a National Historic Landmark and State Park. The Fort brings the 18th century back to life with real cannon and musket firings! It is only a half mile from Mill Creek Discovery Park and its zip line, climbing wall, and Revolutionary War-period water-powered sawmill. Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping is an hour and a half from Tahquamenon Falls, the Soo Locks, and many attractions in the Upper Peninsula.
Join us to enjoy a spectacular natural setting on the shores of Lake Huron. Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground is situated on a mile of lakefront, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac. From the natural beaches, you can view the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. You can also see Mackinaw City, St. Ignace, Round Island, and Bois Blanc Island.
Here are the details for the 2024 Leisurely Great Lakers Fall Rally:
- We have 50 sites reserved for our rally dates. Please call the campground and tell them you are part of the “Leisurely Great Lakers” rally group. No online reservations are available for group bookings. There is not a group rate for this rally.
- The campground is holding the block of 50 campsites for 30 days until May 15, 2024. Do not delay in making your reservation!
Please note the Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing and Show is being held the same weekend, so the city is expected to be full of visitors.
The rally agenda is not yet complete. It will be communicated when it is final. If you want to present or facilitate a topic, session, or demonstration, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Club Leader.
We hope to see you at the fall rally!
