The 2024 Midwest LTVers Fall Festival Boondocking Rally will be at the Alfadale Farm, September 23 – 27, 2034. Alfadale Farm is a 100-acre farm where Kathy Palmquist, one co-leader, grew up. It is approximately an hour west of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Kathy’s brother, Bob Nunvar, is hosting the Fall Rally on his farm.
There is a $40 camping fee and a $10 rally fee per unit, for a total of $50. This is a boondocking Rally and group camping on the farm so no individual sites will be assigned. This Rally can accommodate at least 50 units. If we have more interest, we will put your name on a waiting list.
Do you know how to RV without electricity or limited water sources? Do you know how to maximize the water in your tanks? Join us at the Midwest LTVers Fall Festival Boondocking Rally to learn the answers to these questions and more. During the Fall Rally, we will learn many things about boondocking! Also, some activities will include making apple cider, painting pumpkins, making fire starters, and additional fall projects.
The activity center barn on the farm is both heated and air-conditioned, so we will have a comfortable place to meet for our meetings, activities, and meals. There are tables and chairs, as well as a pool table and foosball table inside the barn.
The Luce Line bicycle trail runs through the Alfadale farm. It is a 63-mile bike trail from Plymouth, Minnesota, to Cosmos, Minnesota. It is a paved trail running by the farm. You can ride your bike to Hutchinson, which has many shops and restaurants, or to the Crow River Winery, which is five miles down the road, and you can even ride your bike to Plymouth, which is a Twin Cities suburb.
Your reservation will be confirmed when payment is received. Refunds will only be issued if another LTVer can attend in your place.
