The Western Sunsetters have arranged a Rally in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. We have chosen to hold our Rally in the Nipawin & District Regional Park Campground. It is on the banks of the Saskatchewan River and near Tobin Lake, one of Canada’s Premier fishing spots.
Some of the things to see and do in the immediate area are: house-boat or fishing boat day cruise tours, tour the Hydro-Electric Station, visit the Living Forestry Museum, enjoy lunch or dinner at Mabel Hill Farm Kitchen (one of Saskatchewan’s top places to eat), golf (two courses nearby), fishing right from the shore, audio walking and driving tours, hiking, bicycling or shopping in the town of Nipawin.
The Rally will commence on June 17 and conclude on June 21, 2024. To attend the Nipawin Spring Rally, you must make your own campsite reservation. A total of 27 sites are currently being held for this event. The campground where our Rally is being held is in a Saskatchewan Regional Park, so a 2024 Saskatchewan Regional Park Pass is required. A daily or annual pass is available at the campground upon check-in.
Registration for this Rally will commence on February 14. This is a two-step process, so please follow the instructions carefully.
- To register, reach out to the campground manager, Craig Sutherland, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the following phone number: 306-862-3237. Craig will assist you with the registration process. When registering, please provide the following information: your name and phone number, and indicate that you are affiliated with the Western Sunsetters Group. Please note that the sites held for our group cannot be booked online. If you cannot reach Craig directly, please leave a message with your contact information, and he will return your call at his earliest convenience.
- Upon receiving confirmation of your site number from Nipawin Regional Park, please complete our Event Registration Form by clicking here. We must have your information to include you in the events and to provide you with event information and a schedule of activities. There will be a $20 Rally fee per LTV to assist with the Rally and the Western Sunsetters Travel Club expenses.
Our rally coordinators are planning a memorable event with diverse activities, including social get-togethers, group campfires, optional tours, and opportunities for walking and cycling excursions. We hope you will be able to join us!
