The Western Sunsetters 2022 Saskatchewan Rally will be held in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan from June 21-24 (This is exactly one week after the Alberta Rally at Jarvis Bay.)
We have on hold 24 campsites at Willowbend Campground in Maple Creek. They will be held until May 15 or until they are all spoken for. Willowbend Campground is privately owned and is located on the northwest corner of town and within walking distance of the downtown area. The sites are $40/night and that includes the taxes. To book a site you should call Willowbend Campground at 306-662-3006 and tell them you are with the Western Sunsetters LTV Group and want to book one of our 24 sites.
Once you have a campsite booked you need to e-mail Norm Lavoy to let him know. His e-mail is [email protected] This is imperative so that we know who is registered and can communicate with those who are registered as plans for rally activities evolve.
A plan is currently being worked on to have a guided tour of Fort Walsh, a National Historic site that is 45 minutes south of Maple Creek in the Cypress Hills.
Maple Creek also has 2 museums, western Canada’s largest toy store (which has the largest inventory of jigsaw puzzles one has ever seen), a walking tour, 9 hole golf course, restaurants, and shops. It is also about 30 minutes from Cypress Hills Provincial Park.
Come out and see what the old west was like in southwest Saskatchewan.
