This trail features a 55-mile loop around the city of Tucson, with feeder trails to Oro Valley and Marana. You can begin and end anywhere near where you are staying.

Description and Tips

Tucson and this trail system is considered the best winter bike riding in the USA. There are parking lots and bathrooms all along this paved trail, which follows dry rivers and washes. You will ride through many parks. In addition to the trail system, Tucson and Oro Valley have bike lanes nearly everywhere, making for many opportunities for riding in Pima County, Arizona. Mercado San Augustin on the west side of downtown Tucson is a great place for coffee, pastries, or lunch. There is an In-N-Out Burger in Oro Valley across from Catalina State Park that has great outdoor seating with a view of the Catalina Mountains. The University of Arizona is not far off the trail, with tons of places to eat or drink coffee.
